Visiting the
Orsi & Weir Studio in the beautiful Nova Scotia
countryside allows the clarinetist to select a clarinet
unique to the player’s requirements.
Fly into
one of three nearby airports and we’ll pick
you up. Stay in our guest suite and receive our experienced
personal attention selecting your new clarinet. Start
by choosing the acoustical model suited to your needs
and playing style.

Bell Selection |
Mix and match from an expansive
inventory of barrel styles and bores, upper joints,
lower joints, and bells until arriving at the creation
of a clarinet specific to your personal playing style.
Our
CD recorder can play back your selections allowing
you to evaluate your final choices. A visit to nearby
university recital halls can provide a setting to
hear your selections in a large hall.
Our workshop
will setup and voice your chosen clarinet, fine-tuning
intonation to your mouthpiece setup and playing style,
installing your preferred pad type, and adjusting
key positions and tensions to your touch.
